School Meals
Meals are cooked on the premises. Food is served on the cafeteria principle, and the children have an excellent choice of well prepared, nourishing food. (the menu is now produced on a three week rota, please see the Dinner Menu page).

At the moment, the cost of a meal is £2.00, this is payable in advance and is subject to change. Usually the week's payment is collected on a Monday morning. Cheques should be made payable to Fordham Primary School.

If necessary, packed meals may be brought to school (please see guidance in the Packed lunch guide section).

If you prefer, your child can have lunch at home. Your child must be collected from school at 12noon and returned to school by 1p.m. but no earlier than 12:50p.m.

A healthy school is one that is successful in helping pupils to do their best and build on their achievements. It promotes physical and emotional health and understands the importance of investing in health.

In order for Fordham to be a healthy school, we need to meet these aims:
-    To encourage children to bring more fruit and vegetables in their packed lunch boxes.
-    To encourage them to bring less fatty, sugary and salty foods in their packed lunch boxes.
-    To encourage them to eat a balanced diet.
