Timings of the School day

The morning session starts at 9am.

It is good for the children if they get here at 10 minutes to 9 so they can have time to play with their friends.

The bell will be rung at 5 minutes to 9 whereupon parents will please say their goodbyes and allow the children to line up. A second bell will then be rung, whereupon the children walk into school ready to start lessons at 9am.

If it is raining, classrooms will be opened at 10 minutes to 9 so the children can come straight in.

Please do not bring your child to school before 10 minutes to 9 as there will be no teacher on the playground to supervise them.

Lunchtime is between 12noon and 1pm. You are welcome to collect your child for lunch. Children who go home for lunch must be returned to school after 12:50pm. Please arrange this with the school office.

The school day ends at 3:15pm. It would be useful if you could arrive at 3:10pm but please no earlier as P.E lessons may still be taking place on the playground. If you are going to be late to collect your child, or if another adult is collecting a Key Stage 1 child please tell the office as soon as you can.

All Key Stage 1 children should be collected by an adult they know and be told before school who is picking them up.
