Over the last year, Mrs. Cook has completed her training on leading Forest Schools. She has led staff meetings to up-skill the teachers and has been developing Forest School sessions across the school, starting in the Reception year.
It is an opportunity for children to have outdoor experiences, involving building confidence, friendships and a wide range of outdoor skills. Some of the experiences that children may encounter are: knot tying, den building, wood work, fire building, planting, as well as identifying species of plants and wildlife.
Thanks to PTFA events and your contributions; we now have a range of resources to use during our sessions.
