Year 6 Residential 2017
The Year 6s went to Walnutree Manor for a week! They had so much fun.
Leopard Class Assembly
Leopards have been learning about mountains. They shared their information in a 'Question of Sport' format and it was brilliant!
WWII Street Party
Year 5 and 6 children have been learning about World War II and the text 'Goodnight Mister Tom'.
Year 5 and 6 children created shelters in line with their WW11 curriculum. This was their 'marvellous middle' of the topic and it was related to their maths
Harvest Festival 2016
The children and parents attended the annual church service, led by Revd Mike and Revd Sue.
Performance made by our two recorder groups, beginners and intermediate level, in front of the school. Mr. Hill, our amazing volunteer, has been teaching them a range of songs.
Father's Stay and Play
Early Years' fathers were invited to come and play with their children. It is was well-attended.
Mosaic - May 2016
The School Council designed a new mosaic to be displayed in our extension. Lots of children in each year group added their artistic flair to the final mosaic. Thanks to our local artist for his input too!
Year 1 Violinists
Year 1 have been learning the violin. They performed to parents and community members at Soham Village College alongside two other primary schools.
Book Week March 2016
Wow! We wore pyjamas, read books for pleasure, carried out 'stop and read' sessions, held a book fair and participated in 'Readathon'.
The orchestra visited all of our children and played a range of classical music alongside teaching them about composers through puppetry.
Chip The Storyteller
Chip retold the story of Anansi and the Tiger....watch how the tiger (Mr Towers) got tied up!
