Music Day

Mrs. Cook has organised a fantastic music day for Friday 18th January.  The focus of the day will be to explore music from around the world.  Each key stage will have a slightly different focus linked to their curriculum:

EY – Play a range of instruments

KS1 – Songs, rhymes, chants and instruments

KS2 – Composition, musical notations and solos

On Friday afternoon, the children are going to come together to perform what they have learned throughout the day.  The intention is for everyone to have had an opportunity to compose a piece of music and learn about musical vocabulary.

We will endeavour to get some of the pictures up online by Monday.
