Our new science mascot, DEQ!

Well done to Cameron G. for creating the winning design for our new science mascot called DEQ. 

Science is a really important part of the curriculum and we are keen to make it a subject that we excel in.  Consequently, we are part of the latest cohort of professionals to undertake the Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM).  Already this has meant that we have audited our provision, sought the viewpoints of staff on how to teach science effectively and undertaken a pupil perception interview with children.  The mascot competition was Mrs. Gooding's idea to help raise the profile of science within the school.
