Welcome back to the Summer Term
A big, warm welcome back to our pupils, staff and parents. It seems mad that it is already April! I would like to also welcome Mr. Lycett who will be teaching in Year 5, covering Mrs. Gooding's maternity leave. Pleasingly, she has welcomed a little girl safely into the world.
This term children will be undertaking a host of sporting activities including workshops on skipping and hula-hooping, athletics training, non-traditional and traditional sports' days as well as competitions for netball, football, cross country and hockey.
Topics covered this term include the Romans, the Vikings, the Anglo-Saxons, mini-beasts, farms and parables. Year 6 will be revising hard for their SATs in May and Year 2 and 1 will be preparing for their tests in June.
If you are keen to help with any of the aforementioned topics, please get in contact with our school business manager, Mrs. Rogers, on the office number.
All the best,
